SlimmerYou ("we," "us," "our") is a fasting-tracking mobile application with social features that let you share your fasting status with friends in private "fasting circles," track body measurements over time, and receive a personalized fasting starting point based on information you provide. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and the display name you choose.
During onboarding, you may provide your height, current weight, goal weight, fasting goal (e.g. weight loss, better health), and fasting experience level. We use this to calculate a BMI category and suggest a starting fasting plan. Providing this information is optional — you can skip it and use the app without it.
We store your fasting activity — when you start and end a fast, your chosen fasting goal and protocol, and your fasting history — so the app's timer, statistics, streaks, and achievements features can function.
If you choose to log them, we store body measurements you enter (weight, waist, hip, stomach, upper arm, thigh, calf, and neck) along with the date logged, so you can track change over time. Logging measurements is optional.
If you create or join a fasting circle, other members of that circle can see your live fasting status (whether you are currently fasting and how long you have been fasting) and can send you a "cheer." Circle names and invite codes are also stored.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore), a cloud service provided by Google. Firebase applies industry-standard security practices to data in transit and at rest.
We retain your account and related data for as long as your account remains active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the app, from the Profile tab (Delete My Account). Deletion removes your profile, fasting history, body measurements, and circle membership, and cannot be undone.
SlimmerYou is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" above and, where appropriate, notify you within the app.
You can permanently delete your SlimmerYou account and all associated data directly within the app:
Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, fasting history, body measurements, and fasting circle membership. This action cannot be undone. If you are unable to access the app and need help deleting your account, contact us using the details below.
